Bob Wyss was a reporter and editor for the Providence Journal 30 years and a journalism professor at the University of Connecticut for 15 years. He is the author of three books and has written more than a hundred articles with a specialty in environmental issues for such publications as The New York Times, Christian Science Monitor, Audubon, Yankee, and theHuffington Post. He resides in Seattle, Washington
