Jenifer Goldin didn't always write contemporary fiction about modern-day moms. After graduating from the University of Florida, she earned a master's degree from Gallaudet University in audiology. She did her fellowship in pediatric cochlear implants and eventually got a job as the lead cochlear implant audiologist at a renowned children's hospital. She eventually left clinical work and began a career in the industry side. After spending over a decade in the field, Jenifer gave up her career to be a stay-at-home mom. She didn't realize that trading stylish suits for yoga pants would stir up a well of emotion. Struggling to adapt to her new role as a mom, she sought solace in her lifelong love for writing. She began by opening a box crammed with hand-written notebooks that formed the basis of a book she began in her twenties. She was determined to finish writing the book, and she did. It's no surprise Goldin's topic of choice is motherhood. Her first novel, Anonymous Mom Posts, was published in April of 2023. Her follow-up novel, Moms Who Read Romance Novels, was released in December 2023 and won the Zibby Award for Best Book for the Best Friend in 2024. Her latest release, Moms Love Boy Bands, was featured on REEL Entertainment with Rachel Smith. Her books focus on motherhood, friendship, relationships, and self-acceptance, mixed with soul and just a dash of snark. The Miami native now lives in Atlanta, Georgia.
