Joe Discher has over twenty years of experience as a theatrical director and actor both regionally an off-Broadway. Story-telling is his specialty, his passion and his calling. Mr. Discher's experience with Shakespeare's canon and the spoken word behind the microphone has given him the facility to deal with complex language and the ability to bring any genre of audiobook to life in a clear, compelling fashion. His vocal ability and improvisational background have enabled him to conjure a versatile array of character voices. Mr. Discher has narrated with several audiobook publishers including Audible and Hachette. With his boutique auto company Knock-at-the-Gate, he has produced, adapted, directed and acted in three immersive audio experiences of Shakespeare's work.
