Ryan Haugen is a SAG-AFTRA-eligible voice actor and audiobook narrator based in St. Paul, Minnesota. With more than 200 audiobook credits and appearances in over 150 GraphicAudio productions, his work spans fantasy, science fiction, romance and romantasy, thriller, LitRPG, audio drama, video games, and other character-driven storytelling.
Ryan is a two-time 2026 SOVAS Award winner and performed Captain Mark Taylor in Penguin Random House Audio’s Earthlight by J. Michael Straczynski, a production recognized as a 2025 Audie Award finalist for Best Original Work. His extensive ensemble experience with GraphicAudio has made large casts, distinct character voices, and performance-heavy fiction particular strengths.
Beyond long-form narration, Ryan’s voiceover work includes video games for Team17, Sound Mind Games, and other developers, as well as commercial, e-learning, and narrative projects. His current Interactive / Video Game demo was produced and directed by veteran actor Dave Fennoy.
Ryan’s natural sound is youthful, warm, bright, and articulate, with a flexible approach to character work ranging from grounded contemporary performance to heightened fantasy and science fiction. A lifelong fan of games, animation, film, speculative fiction, and tabletop RPGs, he brings that familiarity with genre storytelling directly into his performances.
Ryan records from a fully treated home studio and is available for both self-directed and live-directed remote sessions. He welcomes opportunities across fantasy, science fiction, LitRPG, thriller, romance, and other character-forward fiction.
