Originally from Massachusetts and a Harvard University Phi Beta Kappa graduate in linguistics, Laurence Bouvard is a professional actress and voiceover artist trained at LAMDA and based in London, UK. Laurence is a full member of Equity UK, AEA and BAFTA with a career that spans theater, TV, film, videogames, and all forms of audio. A seasoned audiobook narrator, Laurence has recorded over 300 titles to date, covering every genre from thrillers to romance to nonfiction to children, for publishers which include Penguin Random House, HarperCollins, Bloomsbury, Orion, Hachette, Dorling Kindersley, and Audible Originals, among many others. She often records for the BBC and has also started to narrate audio for The Guardian. While her native accent is US English, Laurence is an EU-US dual national with European heritage and fluency in several European languages, as well as a working knowledge of some non-European languages, so particularly enjoys books that require linguistic ability.
