Originally hailing from New England, Jamie has been acting professionally since 1998, both on camera and off. He received his BFA in Acting from FSU and jumped right in with both feet shortly after leaving Tallahassee. He has narrated The New Yorker Magazine and Science News Weekly for Audible as well as narrating over 300 books since 2004, winning two Earphones Awards from AudioFile Magazine. His super hero ability is his ability to bring empathy, approachability and intimacy to everything he reads; fiction, non-fiction, romance, sci-fi, thrillers...
He has a wife, 4 kids, ranging from 22 all the way down to 3 years of age, 2 dogs including a 200 lb English Mastiff named Pickle, and an unhealthy love of The Boston Red Sox... and baseball in general.
