By enlisting the help of a renegade alien AI and her ship, he was able to kill off most of the Dostivex Masters before they could even land. But a significant number of the predatory monsters was already in the process of eating their way through our species. Then, in that darkest hour, out of nowhere, a new alien fleet arrived in orbit and finished off the remnants of the brutal alien subjugators. But, was humankind to be saved or simply now to be forced to wear another alien's yoke? Visquisor subjects Chris to more and increasingly impossible tests, determined to learn if his earlier successes were one-offs or evidence of Chris truly being a diamond in the rough. But to what end Chris needs to prove himself, he will never know. He is only increasingly certain that Visquisor is a maniac and that he is unlikely to ever see home again.
