They came looking for allies. They found a world that worships them as gods.
When Wic and Phantom Team cross through an ancient portal into uncharted space, they discover Eos, a human colony that has survived in isolation for three centuries. Cut off from the rest of the galaxy, the Eosians have built a civilization on faith, military discipline, and dreams of galactic conquest. They've been waiting for legendary warriors to return and lead them to the stars. As fate would have it, Phantom Team are those legends. But something is wrong on Eos. Beneath the adoration and the hero worship, Wic senses rot, the kind that festers in the dark and spreads when no one's looking. Meanwhile, JoJo's growing powers attract attention from forces far older and more dangerous than anyone realizes. When the truth finally surfaces, it will ignite a battle that tests everything Phantom Team has left to give. The Ruins of the Earth saga continues in this explosive eighth installment from bestselling authors Christopher Hopper and J.N. Chaney. Strap in for another hard-hitting mission with your favorite band of operators, because in this galaxy, even legends have to earn their keep.
