Returning to Creek Falls wasn't part of the plan.
Of course, neither was getting doxxed by an overly zealous fan or having to cut off all communication with my friends in the name of safety. And neither was having a Drop the same day I make bull riding history. Really, the last two years have just been a mess. So when it's suggested I return to Monroe Ranch for four weeks to recuperate from the fallout of the Drop, I leap at the chance. Maybe I'll be able to spend one more summer with the Beta and Alpha who have consumed my thoughts every day since I left. Stepping back onto the ranch is like stepping back into a piece of myself. Except I realize I left more than just my heart in Creek Falls. I left blue-green eyes, soft brown curls, and frilly little dresses. I left behind a daughter I never knew about.
