Kermit Roosevelt teaches creative writing and constitutional law at Penn Carey Law School. Before joining the faculty there, he clerked for Supreme Court Justice David Souter and practiced appellate litigation. His novels Allegiance and In the Shadow of the Law explore the ethical dilemmas of legal practice in the past and present. He lives in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
