I’ve loved books since the age of three, when I learned the appropriate points at which to turn the page in my illustrated copy of Old King Cole whilst reciting it aloud and briefly fooled my mother into thinking I’d somehow taught myself to read. This shameful deception revealed, I spent most of the next thirty years devouring as many books as I could get my hands on in order to make up for it. After studying Classics at Oxford University I worked in publishing, from proofing and editorial work to film studio script-doctoring. In 2020 I started a nightly online live-reading event which grew into a thriving community, sharing the joy of stories during a time when nobody was quite sure how our real-life story was going to end. I’m now a fulltime narrator, specialising in queer/sapphic lit, fantasy and paranormal, historical, and romance. When not in the booth I teach solo and partnered dance. I live in Bristol UK, with two partners and more books than can possibly be considered necessary.
