This Used to Be About Dungeons: Volume 4
This Used to Be About Dungeons, Book 4This is a tale that used to be about dungeons...
Now the dungeons have grown curdled and strange. Many days have been undone seeking the source of the disturbance, which seems to only affect this band, and the new normal is an uneasy feeling not quite ablated by a warm bowl of noodles at the noodle house or an evening flying through the sky. For Alfric, the strange dungeons risk a premature end to his dungeoneering career and the precious bond with the people to whom he's grown so close. For Verity, the reflections of her inner dreams in the dungeons are a worrying sign of her godly talents and their influence. But whatever their troubles, there's confidence that they'll make it through—so long as they stay together. The only question is whether their shared bond will hold. Across the hex, a different sort of trouble is brewing, with people going missing in a gentle, peaceful way that might be mistaken for wandering off without telling anyone. For a time, it's a curiosity, someone else's problem so far as the party is concerned, but when someone close to them disappears, the thread demands to be pulled. Where it will lead is anyone's guess.
