About the Performer
Max earned a BFA from NYU Tisch in Drama with a focus in the areas of Shakespeare Performance (Royal Academy of Dramatic Art, London), Experimental and Devised Theatre (International Theatre Workshop, Amsterdam), and Musical Theatre (New Studio on Broadway, New York). In 2020, they were trained and mentored by Kelly Gildea (Grammy Award Winner) at Penguin RandomHouse Audio and have since narrated over 30 titles, including several for New York Times Bestselling Authors (Joyce Carol Oates, Karen M. McManus, Blake Crouch etc). In 2023, they earned their first Audiophile Earphones Award along with their fellow narrators on Erica Bauermiester's "No Two Persons." With an impeccable ear for dialects and a dynamic approach to creating character, Max is a great choice of narrator across genres for any author looking for a professional actor's approach to sharing their story with the world.
